From November 1997 until June 1999, I was the Documentation Manager for Equifax Card Solutions.

Equifax Card Solutions provides financial institutions with the software and know-how to process credit card transactions. These activities are not restricted to the major credit card brands; many businesses are taking advantage of commercial card accounts and custom transaction pricing. Our clients spanned the globe.

The technical environment began with user and technical documentation for MVS- and UNIX- based applications. It included GUI design and documentation for the PC. The main applications utilized masses of data in VSAM files with DB2 interaction.

We developed an increasing amount of internal training; in 1998 we exported training modules for international audiences.

My writers were a diverse group with basic and advanced degrees in engineering, law, business, English, and computer science.
