I've included a representative sample of my work on periodicals, technical volumes, and specialty newsletters.

Quick Example

An editor provided the copy and a simple illustration. I've selected New Century Schoolbook for text, and a heavy-stroke variant of Bembo for the headline. The folio at the bottom of the page is in Jansen (this choice would also be part of a larger design plan). Copyfitting, using tracking and leading, fits the information into the allotted space. Done right, baselines (the horizontal space at the bottoms of the letters) must align across columns.
